Power of 1 Wellness begins at home….YOUR home. Rather than try to superimpose temporary and unsustainable programs on top of your “normal” activities, we integrate into your lifestyle at home. We strive to partner together to accommodate positive health choices and habit formation into your daily routines and provide frameworks for a lifestyle inclusive of better wellness.
Power of 1 is ABOUT Launching overall wellness Sparking education-based growth Building supportive habits Influencing conscious choices Empowering lifestyle changes Achieving a healthy balance Shattering self-imposed barriers/limitations Creating supportive networks Promoting better quality of life
Power of 1 is NOT ABOUT Fads & popular diets Gimmicks Short-term solutions Counting or accumulating points Immediate results and quick fixes Extreme/drastic action plans Applying momentary Band-Aids Enabling toxic environments Pursuit of perfection
Our intention at Power of 1 Wellness is to emphasize overall wellness goals___ health goals, nutrition goals, fitness goals__ by convenient at-home visits. Our program is brought to your residence or selected site and customized to each client’s individual needs and is pertinent for everyone undergoing lifestyle improvements as a work in progress; that is, everyone that is committed to the intention of positive replacement.
We believe that wellness goals and personal plans should be able to flex with life’s unpredictable ups and downs and we aspire to create avenues of choices, actions and lifestyles that can be consistently maintained even during unexpected circumstance. By our thinking, it is not about sticking to a static plan but engaging in behaviors of lifestyle improvement that can stick with you no matter which direction life leads.
To improve and sustain overall wellness outcomes in our communities through education; persistence in positive lifestyle choices, habits, behaviors; and generation of tangible solutions to incorporate wellness into daily routines One choice, One act, One goal at a time.”
“Power of 1” is our working philosophy that expresses no matter how far the finish line, how high the bar or how prodigious the task, when broken down into the most basic elements, most anything is possible, achievable and well within our reach: By consistently and persistently making positive choices to achieve small steps forward, we can habitually generate big changes in our lives.
